Nonna Terms of Use

Effective date: October 8, 2026

These terms cover the Nonna Mac app and withnonna.com. Nonna is developed by Mahir Senturk (“we”). By installing or using Nonna, you agree to these terms. For questions, email hello@withnonna.com.

Where you get Nonna

If you get Nonna from the Mac App Store, Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies, and Apple handles payments, refunds, and restoring purchases.

If you use Nonna through Setapp, your membership is covered by the Setapp Terms of Use, and Setapp handles billing, your membership, and refunds.

Using Nonna

We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use Nonna on Macs you own or control, as allowed by the store you got it from. Please don't copy, resell, or redistribute the app, or reverse engineer it except where the law allows.

Trial and purchase

The Mac App Store version is free to download and includes a seven-day trial of every feature, which starts only when you activate it in the app. Keep Nonna is a one-time in-app purchase, with no subscription and no automatic charge. After the trial, creating reminders and recurring habit nudges require the purchase; your saved data stays accessible.

In the Setapp version, your Setapp membership unlocks every feature, with no separate trial or purchase.

Your reminders

Your reminders, habits, and preferences are yours, and they stay on your Mac. We don't have access to them, so we can't recover them if they're lost. Back up your Mac to keep them safe. The Privacy Policy explains how Nonna handles information.

What Nonna is, and isn't

Nonna is a friendly reminder and habit app. It is not a medical device, and her nudges are not medical, health, or professional advice.

Nonna can only remind you while she is running and your Mac is awake, and macOS settings such as Focus can keep her quiet. Don't rely on her alone for anything where a missed reminder could cause harm, such as medication.

Apple Intelligence features

Optional features use Apple Intelligence on your Mac and depend on Apple's software and your hardware. Its suggestions can be wrong, so check a reminder before you save it.

Updates and changes

We may update Nonna, change or remove features, or stop offering it. Updates arrive through the Mac App Store or Setapp.

Nonna's name and artwork

The Nonna name, character, artwork, and app design belong to Mahir Senturk. These terms don't give you any right to use them beyond using the app.

No warranty and limits of liability

We work hard to make Nonna reliable, but to the extent the law allows, we provide it as is, without warranties, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including those caused by a missed reminder.

Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that can't be waived.

Ending

You can stop using Nonna at any time by deleting the app. If you seriously break these terms, your license to use Nonna ends.

Changes and contact

If these terms change, we will update them here and revise their effective date. Contact Mahir Senturk at hello@withnonna.com with questions.
